Este año el CEDEX celebra la 47ª edición del Curso Internacional de Hidrología General y Aplicada, con una estructura basada en módulos, que pueden realizarse de manera independiente.
El curso de especialización "Agua, saneamiento e higiene en la acción humanitaria" (E-WASH, en sus siglas en inglés) pretende brindar una oferta formativa especializada, práctica y actualizada en modalidad semipresencial.
Una parte de los contenidos se tratarán en la plataforma de formación en línea www.cursosiecah.es y otra parte, enfocada al aprendizaje práctico, consistirá en un curso presencial de 3 días y medio organizado en junio en la sierra de Madrid.

This data set is a combination of climate and vegetation (ecological) types, under current, so-called normal climate conditions, as well as under a presumed doubling of atmospheric CO2. The Life Zones were devised using three indicators: biotemperature (based on the growing season length and temperature); mean annual precipitation; and a potential evapotranspiration ratio, linking biotemperature with annual precipitation to define humidity provinces. The data set has a total of 38 life-zone classes.
Starting with the systematic of infrastructure project appraisal methods in practical use and their pros and cons, the main focus is on dynamic cost comparison calculation. By applying this tool least cost solutions can be selected which are most suitable in water supply and wastewater disposal whenever mandatory targets have to be met.

This layer includes a subset of meteorological stations from different meteorological institutes in Latin America and Caribe. For each station the L-moments statistics method was applied to produce a precipitation frequency analysis. The map represents the values of the second L-moment: Coefficient of L-Variation (L-CV) for each station.
